First Home Plus replaced by First Home-New Home Scheme

From 1 January 2012 First Home Plus exemptions/concessions will be replaced by the First Home-New Home Scheme. This means an exemption/concession will apply only for a new home or vacant land intended to be used as the site of a new home. This could have a significant impact on the NSW housing market over the next few months as first home buyers take advantage of the First Home Plus scheme before the deadline.
